AHA! Fort Smith with Sara Lyons at the Clayton House

AHA! Fort Smith, a movement of downtown merchants, is easing into autumn with a “sit and listen” event at The Clayton House, featuring the Sara Lyons Band.

The September 15 lawn social is sponsored by Edward Jones-Libby Meyer, in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Museum.

Libby says, “We wanted our September AHA! Fort Smith event to be relaxing and easy, so we invited Sara Lyons and her band to play at the Clayton House. Sara generously offered to play for tips only. We’re hoping for excellent weather and a terrific turnout, so bring your blankets or a lawn chair and join us for an old-fashioned fun evening at one of Fort Smith’s premier historic homes.”

Kelly’s Egg Rolls and Shorty’s Tamales are bringing food trucks. Attendees can bring their picnic baskets if they prefer.

Marshals Museum staff will have activities for children. The Lawbreakers and Peacemakers will mingle with the crowd, and visitors can tour the Clayton House.

Additional seating will be provided by Wasted Repurpose Marketplace.
